ALM Education: How to Use ALM to Enhance Decision-Making
This hybrid course is uniquely designed for those who have responsibilities for making strategic recommendations and/or decisions, yet don’t live in the details of ALM.
In today’s fast-moving world, it is essential for C-Suites and Senior Leaders to understand and use ALM as a key driver of success by quickly and more effectively grasping short- and longer-term stakeholder and financial impacts of decisions they face.
Using opportunities and issues decision-makers face today, following are just a few examples of the questions we will discuss.
- What are key considerations in balancing inflationary pressures with the distinct possibility of a recession while preserving customer value?
- Liquidity and affordable funding stresses are mounting for individual financial institutions, as well as the possibility of stresses systemically. What should we have on our radar screen to be better prepared?
- How can we improve the way we link decision information from our various business lines and delivery channels to have a more complete view as we are making decisions?
- What are the “So What’s” of the various ALM methodologies?
This course is highly interactive. To help reinforce learnings, participants will have the opportunity to practice the power of “what-ifs” and quickly see how the actions they are considering can change financial performance under a wide range of economic possibilities.
Make sure to bring your questions. Throughout the course, there will be opportunities to discuss specific questions, issues, and decisions you may be considering.
